How many scoops of Green Llama Laundry Detergent / Soap should you use for a standard load of laundry?

Discover how to effectively use Green Llama Laundry Detergent to achieve optimal cleaning results. This guide covers recommended scoop measurements for standard, large, and HE loads, along with tips for hand washing. Ensure your laundry routine is efficient and environmentally friendly with the right detergent usage.

To achieve optimal cleaning results with Green Llama's Fragrance & PVA Free Laundry Detergent, it's important to use the correct amount of detergent for each load. The detergent is sold separately from the wooden scoop, which measures one tablespoon per scoop.

Standard Load:

  • For a regular-sized load of laundry, use one scoop (1 tablespoon) of Green Llama laundry detergent.

Large or Heavily Soiled Load:

  • For larger loads or those with significant soil, increase the amount to two scoops (2 tablespoons) to ensure thorough cleaning.

High-Efficiency (HE) Washing Machines:

  • Green Llama's laundry detergent is compatible with HE machines. Use the same measurements as above, as the detergent is low-sudsing and suitable for these washers.

Hand Washing:

  • For hand washing garments, dissolve half a scoop (½ tablespoon) in water, adjusting as needed based on the number of items and their soil level.

Using the appropriate amount of detergent not only ensures clean clothes but also promotes environmental sustainability by reducing waste. Always refer to the care labels on your garments and your washing machine's manual for specific instructions.
